When you are bored in your house and sitting on the couch with an empty stomach, you might think to yourself, “What am I going to have for dinner?” You walk to your kitchen and open the fridge and cupboards, knowing that, actually, you are too lazy to cook. 

Now, what is the obvious thing to do in this situation? Call and order a pizza. 

In my humble opinion, pizza is the greatest food this planet has to offer. Although all pizza is amazing, there are certain places that nail the cheesy, crusty masterpiece better than others. To determine which pizza is best, I decided to compare the two low cost, popular pizza restaurants and see which reigns supreme. 

Pizza Hut and Little Caesars fit the criteria . First, I went to Pizza Hut and, man, was I surprised. It had been a while since I went there, and the smell brought me joy. I ordered a small pepperoni with hand-tossed crust and asked them to go light on the sauce, which compares well with Little Caesars’s small pepperoni pizza. 

After Pizza Hut, I went to their competitor. Right off the bat, I was way happier with Little Caesars than I was with Pizza Hut for one reason: Little Caesars was significantly cheaper. How could anyone not want a five dollar pizza? 

When I got home, I first opened the box of Pizza Hut’s hand-tossed pepperoni. Oh man, it smelled good. I will never forget the first bite I took of that pepperoni. 

It was all-around perfect. The fresh, warm, cheesy triangle gave me great pleasure. Pizza Hut did not disappoint; I wish I had asked for a thicker slice because the thin slices only made for a small time of enjoyment. 

Now onto the other pizza. When I opened the box, the first thing I thought was, “Whoa, this pizza loses its freshness fast.” I still had hope, though. I took a bite out of that juicy-looking pizza, and I was very surprised. 

I didn’t think Little Caesars would beat Pizza Hut in flavor, but, somehow, it did. When I got a few pepperonis in my mouth, all I could taste was the blending of crispiness, saltiness, and spice, which pleased my taste buds. The texture of the pizza was on point. 

However, there were some issues. The main problem with Little Caesars was that it was not as fresh; it was only warm. Other than that, it was a good tasting pizza. The issue I had with Pizza Hut was that their pepperoni lacked flavor, and the thin slices cut an enjoyable meal short. 

I would rate Pizza Hut a steady 7.5/10, and I would rate Little Caesars a 8/10. Overall, I thought that Little Caesars was better because their pepperoni had more flavor and because their pizza slices had thicker cheese.
