Ahhhh! The one and only. Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time!!!! Standing in the red corner, one of the greatest content platforms of all time, weighing in at 5,759 movies and TV shows: Netflix! And standing in the blue corner, nobody because nobody can compare to the greatness of Netflix.
I could bask in Netflix’s greatness forever, but that’s not what we’re here for. I’m here to assist you on your journey to make the most out of Netflix.
Honestly, it’s not that hard to make the most out of your Netflix entertainment. However, there are common mistakes that daily viewers must fix in order to achieve this great task.
The first common mistake that people make is not knowing their preferences. It’s a mistake that everyone makes where they hop on Netflix and browse for hours and hours and end up getting nowhere because they don’t know what to watch. This happens to almost everybody, and it happens when you don’t find your lane or preferences when starting Netflix.
Say I start watching Netflix for the first time. My best approach would be to pick a genre that I love, mark in my favorites, and stick with it. This makes it so much easier to hop on and automatically know where to go and not have to browse for 30+ minutes.
Another common issue people have is that Netflix doesn’t have every film on the face of the planet. It may feel like it does, but it doesn’t. There are always popular shows or movies that aren’t on Netflix that everyone wants to watch but can’t because they don’t want to pay for another entertainment network with Amazon prime or Hulu.
My advice to those people is either pay up or find something else. Netflix is has tons of content. There are always shows or movies that aren’t very popular but are hidden gems that are actually enjoyable. It’s called giving things a chance and not judging a book by its cover. That’s all Netflix should be about.
An issue for Netflix watchers is how people will binge a great show in two days and then log off for three months only to come back and binge the same way again and again. It’s a cycle. Doing this is a big waste of your money. It’s better to not binge in a whole day and at most watch an episode or two a day. This builds up the suspense by making the series more enjoyable and making you more satisfied in the end. Plus it is a better use of your monthly payment.
