As we take a deep delve into the wacky world of the Griswold family, the family experiences the outlandish behavior of their extended families and how difficult a perfect Christmas can be.
2. “Die hard” – Some may argue that Die hard is not a Christmas movie, but this is utter blasphemy. This action-packed thriller keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time. John McClane defies the odds and saves his wife along with dozens of other hostages from the clutches of a group of terrorists.
3. “Elf”- Easily the best and most entertaining FAMILY Christmas movie, Elf is a comical masterpiece that is impossible to hate. Buddy the Elf has a goofy and childlike personality that makes anyone who watches smile.
4. “Home Alone”- This movie follows a spoiled and mischievous Kevin, an eight-year-old who lives in Chicago. He is accidentally left behind on a family trip and is forced to fend for himself. Kevin not only takes care of himself but also guards himself from two burglars, making him an iconic figure in Christmas movie lore.
5. “A Christmas Story”- Although made in 1983, a Christmas Story has withstood the test of time. The pink bunny suit that Ralphie is forced to wear is still worn by Christmas connoisseurs every year, and the phrase, “You’ll shoot your eye out!” is still an iconic line.
