Many students have thought about the many different lavatories at the Mount, one may realize the immense gap between the best and the worst bathrooms that are available. The bathrooms will be graded based on multiple categories such as traffic, Wi-Fi reception, spaciousness, and most importantly, cleanliness.
8. The day student locker room: There is no doubt that the bathroom in the day student locker room is the worst at Mount Michael. It is by far last in every category. With heavy foot traffic, along with the cramped space the stalls provide, this bathroom is not for the weak. While these bathrooms are cleaned regularly, it is still somehow dirty, and the smell is also atrocious. Along with all of that, there is ZERO Wi-Fi reception in that bathroom.
7. The Class Dorm bathrooms: Although some category grades may vary between bathrooms, they stay pretty much the same. The cleanliness in these bathrooms is for the most part the same as the day student locker room. Although it is not the cleanest, the traffic and Wi-Fi reception is okay. While these bathrooms are still small, the day student locker room bathroom is still way more cramped than these bathrooms. With that, the only thing that separates number six from number seven is the better Wi-Fi and slightly better foot traffic.
6. D.J. Sokol Bathroom (Main Floor): This lavatory is a huge step up from numbers seven and eight. The only downside about this bathroom is the extreme amount of traffic it receives daily. Other than that, the cleanliness is an A even though it can sometimes smell funky. This bathroom also supplies solid Wi-Fi and enough room to provide sufficient legroom and comfortability.
5.D.J. Sokol Bathroom (2nd Floor): There is not much to say about this one, as it is pretty much the same as the main-floor bathroom except for a couple minor things. The second-floor bathroom has a slightly less amount of foot traffic, due to it being on the floor above, which is what puts it above the main-floor bathroom.
4. D.J. Sokol Bathroom (Science room/architecture room): This bathroom in particular is typically overlooked by much of the student body. This is because it is in the back corner of the school tucked in between the library and the architecture room. This causes it to have less traffic than both the main-floor and second-floor bathrooms of the Sokol building. Also, with it being right by the library, it has extremely good Wi-Fi. Those two things make it the best bathroom in the Sokol building.
3.Guest Bathroom across from day student Locker-room: This bathroom is typically locked (which is what places it at the number three spot) and the student body is usually unable to experience the amenities this bathroom offers during the week. But sometimes it is left unlocked. This bathroom provides you with maximum cleanliness, legroom, and privacy.
2. “Secret Monk Bathroom”: Number one and number two came very close, as they are both exceptional in each category. Due to this bathroom being one singular room, privacy is its best quality (This bathroom is typically ranked number one for people who value privacy). Along with the privacy, this bathroom is always clean due to its lack of usage by the student body. This bathroom also provides a solid Wi-Fi connection and a good amount of space for your comfort.
1. Football Locker Room Bathroom: There is no doubt in my mind that this is the best bathroom available at Mount Michael. This bathroom provides you with maximum cleanliness and comfort. There is excellent legroom for each stall so you are not cramped up in a small space like the day student locker room stalls. And, with this being one of the only areas of the Benedict building being air-conditioned, you never have to worry about overheating. Along with that, this bathroom is always sparkling with it being constantly cleaned. Lastly, there is hardly anyone ever using this bathroom so you get a good amount of privacy as well.
