The streets of 186th and 204th run the food scene for Mount Michael students. After long games and midday appointments, these strips of restaurants are always there for the weary Knights. One of the hard hitters is Chipotle. Twenty-two locations spread across Nebraska serve as a fast, casual place that has become a favorite for many people. Chipotle is a restaurant that is a staple for many people, but especially for Mount Michael students.
Due to their close proximity to Mount Michael, two locations stand out: 204th and 186th. While both locations are viable options, one is far superior to the other. In my personal (and correct) opinion, the Chipotle on 186th is the better location. If I was starving in a desert and had to pick between starvation and going to the 204th location, I would pick starving any day of the week. Once you’ve had greatness, there’s no point in going back to mediocrity. In the beginning, there was the 204th Chipotle location. Even though this Chipotle was established first, it is not the best choice. It’s always been there because there were no better options, but ever since the 186th location opened up, there’s no reason to go to 204th. In every single aspect, the 186th location is superior. Both locations are the same distant from Mount Michael, so gas should not be a deciding factor, and even so, going to the 186th location is worth the extra mileage. Factor in service, portion size, and atmosphere and 186th blows 204th out of the water. Every time I go to the 186th location, I get a burrito bigger than my head, but the 204th location skimps out and gives me barely anything.
The service at 186th is incredible. You tell them your order, blink, and a massive burrito or heaping bowl of food appears in front of you. For Mount Michael students, after a long day of school, practices, and tough games, Chipotle is always there. You could be broke, jobless and have nothing going for you in life, but at least you’ll still have Chipotle, and you should make the better decision and go to 186th rather than wasting your time at 204th.
